Default Few newbie questions

I have had guild wars for a few months now, but was a wow addict and did not really get to play guildwars, I have now stopped playing wow for obvious reasons, and am trying to get some formation of a social life back together.

Any way I regress, I have a lvl 10 W/mo and have a few questions, I have all 3 chapters of GW, when I hit lvl 20 can I freely move my W/mo from chapter to chapter, or is it a one way street, eg, I can go to the next chapter with him and not go back to the chapter before. Second, can I send my other chracters money and Items, lets say I use my W/mo as a farming char, can I send my lower lvls items, by the means of a mail delivery system not through another char in the game, as I know no one on there yet. Lastly for armour, how does one call up all the stats on what armour you are wearing at that givem time.

Many thanks and I hope to see you ingame.

1. You can move all your characters from one chapter to the other. You don't even have to be level 20. However you need to do quests in Lion's Arch, Kamadan or Kaineng Center to be able to change chapter for the first time. Check out http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Main_Page for help.

2. You can transfer items through your account storage. Just place them in the storage and your other character can take the stuff out

In the towns of Lion's Arch, Kaineng Center and Kamadan there are quests that allow you to unlock travel between the chapters and their respective continents. Once you do these quests, that character can travel freely between the continents at any time by using the ship icon that appears on your continent map.

Yes, you can. You can put items and gold into your Xunlai storage vault. The vault is shared between all characters in your account, so you can use it to transfer things between characters with ease. The vault service is not available in pre-searing Ascalon (beginner area of Prophecies) or Chabek Village (mission 1 of Nightfall) though.

Pull up your inventory and mouse over your equipped weapons and armor. The stats on each piece of equipment will show up in a small dialog box as you mouse over each one in turn.

Also note that in GW, the armor ratings of each piece of equipped armor are not added together. GW uses a "hit location" system to determine damage; for example, there is a 3/8 chance of being hit in the chest, and in this case only the armor level of your chest armor will be used to calculate the damage you take. Shields and armor bonuses on weapons and focus items (as well as armor bonuses from skills) are global however, and are taken into account wherever you get hit.

I hope this info helps, and if you have any other questions please do not hesitate to ask
